Laura has been helping patients improve their smiles at Newman Springs Dental Care since 2011. She is passionate about her job and is committed to providing comfortable, friendly, quality care to all patients and keeping current on what’s new in the dental community by furthering her education.
Laura R. is a graduate of Brookdale Community College, where she was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar. In January 2011, she achieved her RDH at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Scotch Plains, NJ, formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). She also completed two years of clinical experience seeing patients at the New Jersey Dental School and the Scotch Plains Clinic and became an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in dental hygiene.
Laura R. has been working as a registered dental hygienist in both general and pediatric dental offices since 2011. Laura gives back by volunteering for many organizations and events, such as the annual Dentistry From The Heart event (since 2011), Give Kids a Smile, the VA Hospital in West Orange, the Rahway health fair, and at programs in Staten Island by educating children with autism on oral hygiene instructions.
When she is not treating patients, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies, shopping, and seeing new places.
