We Pay It Forward Through Dentistry From the Heart in Lincroft
At Newman Springs Dental Care, one of our favorite ways to serve the community is with our annual Dentistry From the Heart in Lincroft, held in October. During these clinics, we provide free dental services for those who otherwise wouldn't be able to receive them. It feels great to pay it forward with gratitude and charity!
Below are a few of the ways this event helps our area and beyond:
- We were the first to bring Dentistry From the Heart to New Jersey in 2007. Since then, we've provided more than $500,000 in services to some 1,400 patients.
- At the 2019 event alone, 60 volunteers served 90 patients. Spanish-speaking volunteers put our non-English-speaking patients at ease while they explained their dental issues. We performed more than 400 procedures!
- During the annual events, we guarantee treatment for the first 120 patients aged 18 and older. We provide digital panoramic X-rays, examinations, and oral cancer screenings, as well as a choice of a dental cleaning, filling, or single-tooth extraction.
Help Us Give Back to Those in Need
This program was originally started in 2001 in Florida by Dr. Vince Monticciolo. Today, thousands of dental professionals across North America, Australia, and New Zealand volunteer their time and talent for events in their communities.
Many local businesses work with us to make our clinics a success, helping us with services ranging from publicity to refreshments. It's gratifying to our team that other local dental practices have also begun offering clinics. We're proud that our efforts have inspired others to give back to their community!
